DR SIMON BARRETT, Managing Director, L.E.K. Consulting, Australia / New Zealand

Simon Barrett is the Managing Director of L.E.K. Consulting Australia and New Zealand. He advises major corporations on strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and performance improvement, and works extensively within the public sector on policy and commercial issues. Simon leads L.E.K.’s Asia Pacific transportation practice, covering passenger and freight rail, light rail, bus, aviation and airports. He has been involved in many major transport reforms in Australia and New Zealand over the last decade and is responsible for L.E.K.’s carbon and climate change practice in Australia. Simon received honours in a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University and a PhD from Cambridge where he held a Cambridge Australia Trust Scholarship.
