RICHARD JONES, General Manager, Industry Management, GS1 Australia

Richard Jones has been with supply chain standards body GS1 Australia for more than 12 years. In this time, he has worked with FMCG, health and defence organisations to develop and implement efficient supply chain programs based on GS1 standards. Richard was previously in charge of GS1 Australia’s services operation which tests more than 90,000 barcodes each year and manages item and price data for approximately 150,000 products. Richard currently works in Industry Development, working with up to 18 different industry sectors to identify opportunities for supply chain efficiencies and steering them through the implementation pathway.
