GEOFF HILL, Manager Economic Development, Latrobe City Council, Australia

Geoff Hill is currently the Manager of Economic Development at Latrobe City Council in Victoria. Over the past two years Geoff has worked on the development of the Gippsland Logistics Precinct (GLP) which includes the re-establishment of the Gippsland Intermodal Freight Terminal (GIFT). Geoff’s work in this project involved detailed project planning, liaison with industry, state and federal government departments and the community. Following a career in private enterprise, including owning and operating a number of small businesses, Geoff has been employed in local government for the past twenty years. Geoff has a diverse history in project management with a particular emphasis on stakeholder management and has tertiary qualifications in business management and design.
