Marcel Sieira is the General Manager of Sales and Business Development at GS1 Australia and has worked in supply chain for 12 years. Marcel is responsible for improving and strengthening the organisation’s professional services offering by identifying the unique requirements of GS1 and developing new services in the areas of unique identification and automatic data capture, data synchronisation, electronic messaging and EPC/RFID. Marcel is also responsible for driving the growth of GS1net, GS1 Australia’s data synchronisation service. This includes driving adoption in sectors such as grocery and liquor, healthcare, automotive aftermarket and hardware as well as identifying developing new business opportunities and further system capabilities.
