DR MICHAEL FORBES, Adjunct Professor, Mathematics Department, The University of Queensland

As Director of Research and Development of Jeppesen Rail & Logistics, Michael Forbes role saw him responsible for the specification and design of Jeppesen’s major systems. Michael has more than twenty years experience in the development and application of optimisation tools and information systems, particularly in the areas of supply chain logistics, crew scheduling and vehicle scheduling. Michael has a PhD in Operations Research and is currently the Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at the University of Queensland.
