Yildiz Turkay is a systems programmer at Izmir Institute of Technology, specialising in logistics, marine sciences and technologies and has extensive experience in Information Technology (IT) and Total Quality Management (TQM) Systems. With much of his work published in a variety of academic journals and publications, Yildiz has presented papers at Logistics and Supply Chain Conferences around the world, including the Fourth International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress, Izmir, 2006, the International Systems Safety Regional Conference, Singapore, 2008, the Environment, Survival and Sustainability Conference, Cyprus, 2007 and the International Conference on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in the Balkan and Black Seas.
