  • The Smart Awards will be presented at The Smart Conference 2015 Supply Chain Industry Dinner, Melbourne Convention Centre, Wednesday 27 May, 2015.

    The prestigious SMART Awards 2015 continue the tradition of recognising excellence in supply chain and logistics by Australian-based companies and organisations at the SMART Conference.

    The SMART Awards are a national awards program judged by a panel Subject Matter Experts brought together by major industry associations apicsAU, The Logistics Association of Australia and Interpoint Events In association with ASCI, CILTA, SCC, SCLAA and WISC.

    In 2015, these well respected awards will continue to celebrate exceptional performance with an emphasis upon innovation and successful business strategy implementation. Judges will also look for leadership in customer service and sustainability.

    Five awards outlined below are to be presented in 2015, sponsored by major commercial entities in the supply chain and logistics industry. The awards are open to all Australian-based companies and organisations that meet the criteria for entry. The awards have a tradition of being hotly contested.

    • Award for Excellence in Event, Humanitarian or Military Logistics
    • Award for Excellence in Manufacturing Supply Chains
    • Award for Excellence in Procurement
    • Award for Excellence in Supply Chain Management & Distribution
    • Award for Excellence in Transport & Logistics

    • Please attach the following supporting data to this nomination form. Lack of supporting data will render the submission invalid. The nomination form specifies the minimum information required as a guide. More detailed information may be attached to the nomination form. Submissions must be in written form of no less than 1000 words.

      1. Background to the subject of the nomination and relevence to the award
      2. Description and details of the nomination subject – innovation, practices, speed, communication, integration and execution
      3. Major achievement of the nomination with regard to attained stated objectives
      4. Three copies each of supporting high quality photographs/CD/video or other visual material
      5. Quantification of the level of benefit or contribution to the organisation involved, the industry, the economy and/or the environment
